30 Terms Defined

Complete definitions for every term used in the Duel VIP, rewards, and crypto casino ecosystem.

A percentage of a player's total wagered amount returned as a reward. Duel's rakeback is volume-based (not loss-based), ranging from 10% (Bronze) to 50%+ (Elite VIP).
A temporary boost to a player's rakeback rate on Duel Originals. Since Originals have 0% house edge, Enhanced Rakeback creates mathematically positive expected value.
A tier in Duel's loyalty program, from Bronze (base) to Elite (highest). Each tier provides a higher rakeback rate and additional benefits. Tiers are achieved by accumulating wagering volume.
The percentage of wagered money a game returns to players over time. Duel Originals have 100% RTP (0% house edge). Standard casino slots have 94–96% RTP.
The casino's mathematical advantage built into game payout structures. Expressed as 100% minus RTP. Duel Originals have 0% house edge — no mathematical advantage for the casino.
The average expected outcome per wager over many repetitions. Positive EV means expected profit over time. Duel Originals with any rakeback always have positive EV.
A cryptographic system allowing players to independently verify game outcomes were not manipulated. Uses server seed, client seed, and nonce — all verifiable after each round.
Server Seed
A random string generated by Duel before each game round, hashed with SHA-256 and committed to the player. Revealed after the round for verification.
Client Seed
A random value provided by the player that contributes to game outcome determination, ensuring the casino cannot predetermine results.
Nonce
A number used once that increments with each game round using the same seed pair, creating unique outcomes for every round.
Wagering Requirement
A playthrough requirement specifying how many times a bonus must be wagered before withdrawal. Standard Duel rakeback has NO wagering requirements.
Proprietary games developed exclusively by Duel with 0% house edge (100% RTP) and provably fair outcomes. Includes Crash, Mines, Plinko, Dice, Blackjack, Roulette, and Tower.
A Duel Original game where a multiplier climbs from 1x until it randomly crashes. Players must cash out before the crash to win.
A Duel Original game where players reveal tiles on a grid containing gems and mines, with multipliers increasing with each safe reveal.
A Duel Original where balls drop through pegs to land in multiplier slots. Risk levels and row counts determine distribution.
A simple Duel Original where players predict if a random number is above/below a set threshold. Fully adjustable win probability.
A competitive ranking of players by wagering volume over a period. Prize pools distributed to top-ranked players at period end. VIP multipliers boost scores.
A VIP tier benefit that amplifies a player's wagering volume score in leaderboard rankings. Elite VIP receives 3x+ multiplier.
Stablecoin
A cryptocurrency pegged to a stable asset like the US dollar. USDT and USDC are popular stablecoins on Duel — their value remains ~$1 regardless of crypto market movements.
The original and most widely held cryptocurrency. Supported for Duel deposits and withdrawals. Slower confirmation times (~10–60 min) vs newer networks.
The second-largest cryptocurrency and smart contract platform. Duel accepts ETH and ERC-20 tokens including USDT and USDC.
The world's largest stablecoin, pegged to $1 USD. One of the most popular deposit options on Duel due to price stability.
A regulated stablecoin by Circle, pegged to $1 USD. Available on Solana (fast) and Ethereum on Duel.
A fast, low-fee blockchain. Solana-based deposits on Duel confirm in ~30 seconds — the fastest available option.
A responsible gambling tool that temporarily or permanently suspends a player's account. Available through Duel's responsible gambling settings.
Cashback
A reward based on net losses over a period. Distinct from rakeback — cashback only pays when you lose. Duel uses volume-based rakeback, which is significantly more valuable.
A cryptographic hash function used in Duel's provably fair system. One-way: cannot determine the input from the hash, making pre-commitment manipulation impossible.
A dedicated account representative assigned to high-tier Duel VIP players (typically Platinum+). Handles custom bonuses, withdrawal assistance, and personalized service.
The maximum amount a player can withdraw in a given time period. Increases with VIP tier. Elite players have maximum withdrawal limits.
A responsible gambling tool limiting deposits per day/week/month. Set voluntarily in account settings or required for compliance.
